What this site stores in your browser, and what it does not.
The short version: this website sets no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, and no social media pixels. The only thing we store is your light/dark theme choice, and it never leaves your device.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. On a later visit the site can read it back. Cookies can be useful - keeping you signed in, remembering a preference - and they can also be used to follow people around the internet building advertising profiles.
Related technologies do similar jobs. Local storage keeps a value in your browser but, unlike a cookie, never sends it to the server automatically.

That is the complete list. The theme preference is stored locally and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.
What this website does not use
- No advertising cookies. We run no ad networks and no retargeting.
- No social media pixels. No Meta pixel, no LinkedIn Insight tag, no TikTok pixel.
- No cross-site tracking. We do not follow you to other websites and nobody does so through us.
- No cookie-based analytics. Our analytics counts visits without setting cookies or building a profile of you.
This is why you are not seeing a cookie consent banner. We do not set anything that requires your consent, so making you dismiss a popup would be theatre.
How we measure traffic without cookies
We want to know which pages people find useful. We use a privacy-preserving analytics service that reports aggregate numbers - page views, referring sites, countries, device types - without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
We can tell that a page was viewed 40 times last week. We cannot tell that it was you.
How to control what is stored
You are always in charge. Every major browser lets you view and delete stored data:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings, then Privacy
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions
Clearing site data for this website resets your theme preference to the default, which follows whatever your operating system is set to. Nothing else on the site will break.
Other websites
Pages here link out to client websites, business directories and software companies. Once you follow a link, that site sets its own cookies under its own policy. We have no control over what they store.
Changes to this policy
If we add a tool that uses cookies, we will update this page first and add a consent mechanism if one is required. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
